I just got back from Sakura con! I had an awesome time. It was a first for two of my friends too and it seemed like they had a good time as well. The weather was awesome (a bit cold, but no rain at least). My friend FinalEvangelion did a shoot for my friend and I. My friend's shoot was her Tsubasa Sakura dress and mine was an FF6 shoot. I am so excited to see some of those shots. We were having a lot of fun at the shoot so I am sure there are more silly shots than serious, but that's okay. I managed to make my sword for Terra and finish all the Ranma cosplays. I was only asked to have my picture taken a few times as Ranma but I didn't mind. That costume is sooooooo comfortable and I swear it's the first one I have that probably could wear it all day. I also managed to remake my boots for Terra in time for the con, which was a huge relief. Last year at Fanime my shoes killed me, literally, but these new ones I can wear for a few hours without feeling a thing.

Okay so next up is Fanime and I am planning on having my Chun Li and (hopefully) Yoko (12 Kingdoms) finished by then. Chun Li won't be a problem, the boots are almost finished and the dress is already patterned, I just have to dye the material and appliqué the designs (yay). Yoko however required a lot of wonderflex and raised floral details, so we will see how far I get. I am just sooooo happy that Fanime is at the end of May, that gives me a lot of time to finish her up.

I think Fanime will be the last con for me this year until Sac Summer. I was planning on attending AX but it's so expensive and with the X-Games happening on the same weekend and in the same place, I think it would just be best if I saved my money for next year.

Well I think that's it as far as my update goes. I might have more at the end of the month if I manage to get some work done on my planned projects.
