Well it's been a while... sorry everyone... work has had me pretty busy. Anyway, I wasn't going to post this... but figured that since I haven't posted in a while I should anyway. ^^;

So the story with this is... well it's a birthday present. I guess you can tell I was really going for a good representation of earth. Hopefully I pulled it off.

Materials: Drawn by hand and colored in Photoshop CS2

I love how he seems to be part of the tree.. Whether intentional or not the way his clothing lays across the tree's root and branches up onto his body almost looks branch like in the folds as if he's the spirit of the tree itself. But perhaps that is just how I'm interpitating things in this piece. Either way it's a lovely work of art. =3 Hope the person whose recieving it enjoys it as much as I do.

I love how everything is in differant greens and browns and than there is that tiney speck of blue-- the butterfly. It stands out. The person in this drawing reminds me of my stepbrother-- only in looks though. The personality you present differs from him. I love the peacfulness of this picture Awsome job.
