I have to admit… I was a little hesitant to post this picture… I had originally planned to post it the moment I finished it… But it didn’t happen. I guess I am just not used to posting my original stuff. I sometimes have a hard time accepts criticism when it comes to my originals. I guess it’s because they mean more to me than my fan arts. *laughs* But anyway… I’m going to go out on a limb and post a picture that is one hundred percent created by me. Yay! *laughs*
Well I suppose I should try to tell you a little bit about the picture huh? The idea came from a picture I drew a long time ago. I found it while searching through some old papers and I decided to redraw it. I spent the entire summer working on this thing… so I guess it was worth it. *laughs* I have to admit I am pretty pleased with the way it came out. (And unfortunately now that it’s finished I can see all the things I could have done better, oh well I guess. Do better on the next one). The fish especially… I need to work on drawing animals and such. I should have gotten a book on fish or something…
Oh, a couple of friend’s brought this up when they saw me drawing this so I thought I should mention it before I start getting comments on it. I never meant for this to look like an anime version of the Little Mermaid. In all honesty… I didn’t even have that story in mind while I drew this. The characters were for a manga that I was going to create but never got around to. I might start it up again someday.
Well I guess that’s all. I hope you like it. Oh and if you critique, please be nice. *bows*

Oh gods the moment I have been waiting for since I started watching you has arrived! Your own personal works that I've been dying to see and haven't said anything for fear of being rude! *tears of joy* Simply marvelous!
Beautiful. The detailing is great and the colors are beautiful and vibrant, I suppose crayola really does the trick for you, huh? lol. The setting of this is great, the way the mermaid is looking at the pirate. You should post more of your original things. ^_^
This is . . . this is . . . . Oh my god. Wow, that's all I can say, wow. It's gorgeous, the details, the shading, the DETAILS! I can't really say anything else, really. Just, wow.
