Characters: Durza the Shade and Arya

Yes once again uploading my homework. *laughs* I was able to complete this one this evening. Hooray! 10 more to go.

Anyway, I sort of took on the idea the movie had for Durza, I thought his costume was really cool. As for Arya... I thought that the movie version wasn't very good. Personally... I like my elves to have pointy ears... So yay!

As for the scene, well this is the opening chapter for those of you who don't know, where the Shade captures Arya (like the title) :p

The most difficult part of this had to be the fire. I must have spent most of my time working on those flames. I think it turned out nice though, so I guess it was worth it.

Materials: Drawn by hand with an HB pencil, and colored in Corel Painter 8.

Time taken: About 5 - 6 hours. I think I am getting faster. :P

See, you make Durza look good. Like he's supposed to be. (HE'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE OLD, DAMMIT)

I really dislike the books (except for Murtagh...I can make an exception for him), but I very much like this :)

*laughs* Someone likes my Durza. Ah and you are a Murtagh fan, the next picture to be posted will have him in it. I hope I do him justice for you. :P

Sweetness. Your coloring is just beautiful. It's so cool how you're using digital media, but it still looks traditional.

And I prefer pointy ears as well. On my elves...on anything really. I just prefer pointy. XP

I guess, even in digital media, I am still a traditional artist... weird how that works. ^^;

And I prefer pointy ears too! I always wanted pointy ears... (I still kind of do. :P) ^ ^
