I'm not sure why, but I felt like writing a journal.

I have been working away on costumes and comics, and of course actual work work, but I don't want to talk about there. :P It looks like I have a pretty full plate this year. My sister's boyfriend would like to jump into our Zelda group, he would like to be Ordon Llink (he says he hates Link's green hat, so he wants to be "normal" Link :P). So our group will finally have a Link, yay! I am still planning on Slayers, but first I am making a few changes to my Zelda costume. I decided to be brave (crazy) and embroider the designs on the bodice of the dress, dye the front tabard/panel/thing, and then embroider it too. :P I am pretty close to half way on the bodice and so far I still have all of my hair... Well we will see how the rest of it goes. As soon as that's finished I will be working on Ordon Link (yay... more embroidery... damn....) and then Lina and Zelgadis. I will try and post some progress pictures as I complete things... So far I am stuck trying to make a decent pair or white gloves (I think I am working on attempt number five).

I also wanted to write a bit about my first experience at Kumori-con 2009. Ganondorf and I drove to the con (a nice five hour drive) on Saturday (I think if we go to this con again we will head down the day before). I thought it was a nice little con, there were a few issues, but nothing too major. This con was crowded... I bet the hotel was happy to see us leave on the last day. :P The elevator was always cramped and you had to wait in line. I think I gave myself a week's worth of exercise climbing those stairs though! I didn't go to any of the events though, maybe next time. I saw :iconmastershambler: there and he and I talked briefly and Ganondorf and I met a really nice Link that we posed with for a while. So all in all, we had a pretty good time. It was a great experience.

I think that's it for now. :P

Yays! AX09 was a blast, my costumes were finished the day before yays! We only had a couple of costume issues and all of them were minor (mostly mine anyway). I am going to try and pull together a couple single shots of everyone and post them. I plan on doing a photo shoot with a friend sometime soon. Bah, but before that I would like to make a few changes on my costume... we will see how that goes. Namely fixing the wig, dying the front panel... thing, and redoing the bodice.

Anyway though! What's up next is, yays! More costumes!! It sounds like my group wants to do Slayers this next year... we will see though. :)

Well, i am off to manipulate some photos.

It's been a while... wow... over a year since I posted a journal. It's been a busy year though.

My current project is making four new Zelda costumes for AX09! This has been taking up most of my time this year. I also would really like to be done by Memorial Day weekend, but we will see. (There's a lot of Wonderflexing to be done.) I am redoing my Zelda costume and a few of the Ganondorf pieces. I am also building a Sheik (Brawl Version Costume) and a Zant costume. I will be getting some pictures up as soon as possible. Promise!

Seifer-sama, over and out!

First off, the commissions are still open. If you want a commission from me refer to the details listed here: [link]

Now for the real news. A group of my friends and I have gathered together and created our own comic. Today (after about a years worth of planning and work) we have finally launched. We are currently here: [link] If you have any interest, check us out. :)

Well that's all the news for now.

First off, Happy new Year. I have decided that I want to go to AX and I am broke, and for a starving artist the fastest way to do that is commissions! So here we go!

Commission Prices:

Sketch: $15.00 USD
A full body sketch of one character.

Ink Drawing: $20.00 USD
A full body inked drawing of one character.

Digital Coloring: $50.00 USD
A full body digitally colored drawing of one character.
(These are typically a sketch that is drawn on sketch paper, scanned, cleaned, and colored on the computer using Adobe Photoshop)

Traditional Coloring: $60.00 USD
A full body traditionally colored drawing of one character.
(With all my traditonal drawings, they start as a sketch on white paper, cleaned and inked traditionally and then colored with Prisma colored pencils. The final piece will be scanned and cleaned up using Adobe Photoshop to present to you online, unless requested otherwise)

Other Options

Head-shot:
$10.00 USD (Sketch)
$30.00 USD (Digital)
$40.00 USD (Traditional)

A head-shot of the character instead of a full-body, also known as a bust.

Waist-up:
$10.00 USD (Sketch)
$40.00 USD (Digital)
$50.00 USD (Traditional)

Instead of the piece being a full-body, it will be a waist-up. This means that if anything below the waist is showing it will be considered a full body shot.

Additional Character:
$10.00 USD (Full-body and Waist-up)
$5.00 USD (Headshot)

An additional character is any other characters added to the one included in the commission.

Background:
$0.00-$20.00 USD (Depending how difficult they are)
Added to the original price of the commission.

Mailed Art:
$5.00 USD

This covers the Shipping and handling. The artwork will be put in a protective plastic sheet, and mailed in a cardboard envelop, to protect it from damage. All envelops will be big enough to fit the artwork without bending it. Also included will be the original sketch, unless the commission is a traditional artwork.

Commission Terms / Disclaimer:

All artwork is copyrighted to me under copyright protection laws automatically upon creation of the work.

Also note: Commissions with a deadline will have a higher priority over those without. When making a deadline, please allow me at least two weeks to complete the project. (This may change, depending on the difficulty of the commission)

If it's easier to use this as a guideline to submit your commission then feel free to use it.
